The Trustees of Bampton Recreation Ground Charity have approved expenditure for a an independant sports consultant to perform a full feasability report for a 3rd generation ATP at the recreation ground. The study is expected to be completed by the end of February and will deliver a set of reccomendations on how we progress to the next stage in the application for funding for the ATP.
A presentation detailing the need for an Astro Turf Pitch (ATP) at Bampton Recreation Ground was made by representatives of the Football Club to the Parish Council on Wednesday 8th December 2010. The Parish Council have indicated support for this project subject to the results of a feasibility study that will be conducted in January 2011. The Football Club are hoping to secure intial funding from the Parish Council and furher monies from external bodies.The ATP will provide premier training facilities for all the Bampton youth and senior teams. We willl continue to update you on the progress of the Bampton ATP.
Perhaps you are not getting enough games with your current club or just not enjoying the football. Please contact Bampton U9's - we concentrate on player development of all in the squad - we accept there is a range of abilities in any team - of course we like to win matches but results are not our key priority in the early years - we want players to demonstrate natural skills and imagination - we use FA approved coaching techniques to get the best out of our players.
